Today, we finish off our long, long list of characters with the Ancient Guardians, prominent newcomer enemies iconic to Breath of the Wild that are basically Armos combined with Beamos on steroids with spider-legs. They are ancient machines unearthed by King Rhoam's forces and activated to help fight the calamity only to be immediately possessed by the calamity and turned into the most disastrous weapons against Hyrule.

The most prominent of these guardians are the giant ones that crawl around and fire devastating lasers at anyone who gets too close. However, numerous small variations populate the game, most often inside the Sheikah shrines as tests for you to fight. These versions can wield spears, lightning swords, axes, and shields. There are also helicopter drones that patrol certain fortresses.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Guardian Laser

The most basic and iconic attack. The Guardian will first project a crosshairs to aim at an opponent while the laser charges up. After a few seconds, it will fire in whatever direction it is pointed.

Side B: Sword Spin

It will produce arms bearing a sword and shield, extend them outward, and then spin its arms around itself fast.

Up B: Drone Takeoff

The Guardian will produce the flying apparati of the drones and lift into the air for a short distance.

Down B: Axe Smash

It will produce a Guardian Axe and chop downward with it for heavy damage.

Final Smash: Guardian Army

Hundreds of Guardians will crawl their way up onto the stage, hundreds of crosshairs taking aim at all of the fighters on screen, basically taking them the way they took Akkala, Hateno, Hyrule Castle, all of that.

Entrance: It will be half-buried and covered in moss before coming to life by detecting the other fighters.

Taunts: Up, the Guardian will lift up and turn its head around to scan. Side, the Guardian will produce its arms and put them away again. Down, the Guardian will collapse and fall apart as if about to explode.

Thanks for reading! Now, let's put our roster so far together.
