Today, let's cover the Garos, mysterious beings who once fought against the soldiers of Ikana and whose souls roam the battlefield just like their foes. I'm going to say that Majora's Mask is their first and only appearance, although their character model is borrowed from the peddler in Ocarina of Time who collects Poe souls. As there's nothing concrete saying that he is one of them, I'm going to tentatively put him in the same category as Cremia and Romani to Malon.

Garos are shadowy warriors draped in cloaks and wielding swords. They are known to pop out of the ground when approached, trapping their foe in a circle of fire and forcing them into a duel. Once defeated, their souls will pass on from this world. They like to hop around and sometimes leap very high. They attack with their twin swords that can fly out of their hands when blocked, and their leaders, the Garo Masters, wield flaming swords and will blow themselves up as a last ditch effort.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Twin Sword Strike

They will slash forward with their twin blades. This move will have a sweet spot where if it is blocked at the right moment, they will lose their swords and be unable to perform the move until they reach the spot where it landed.

Side B: Flaming Swords Slash

Their blades will light on fire and they will rush forward with a slash, just like the Garo Masters do.

Up B: Ninja Leap

The Garo will leap high into the air to get out of trouble.

Down B: Ring of Fire

They will cast a ring of fire around themselves, trapping anyone caught in its radius and allowing the Garo to take them on one-on-one for a short time.

Final Smash: Final Bomb

You know, when ordering this list, I did not intend two self-destruct based Final Smashes in a row, but here we are. The Garo will drop its last ditch effort bomb, which will start to count down, requiring all other players to get out of the blast radius before it blows.

Entrance: The Garo will pop up out of the ground.

Taunts: Up, it will hold its swords up in a threatening pose. Side, it will spin with its blades for a second. Down, it will hold up a jar with a Poe soul in it (just as a reference).

Thanks for reading! Next up, a mere weary traveler. Completely harmless, I assure you. Would you be interested in buying some bananas?
