61.   Gekko

62.   Master Kohga

63.   Ancient Guardian

This one's a little odd for me, as one-off bosses always seem to be in a weird spot, feeling a bit out of place on a roster of actual main and supporting characters, but Gekkos did end up getting enough moves, and they do have some slight plot relevance, as the two that you fight end up being members of the frog chorus cursed by the Skull Kid, so it works out.

Gekkos are fast and agile, able to jump high and climb around on walls. They are known to punch with a fierce right hook and hop really high into the air on their own. What really puts them over the edge are their companions, the first riding around on a Snapper (basically a turtle), and the second being surrounded by mad jellies, frequently throwing them at you to get you stuck and gathering them all together and launching toward the ceiling.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Right Hook

For more of a basic attack, the Gekko will wind up its fist, charging it for a short time, before punching forward hard.

Side B: Snapper

The Gekko will hop on top of its Snapper and ride it forward, slamming into anyone in its path.

Up B: Jelly Leap

I could just do their basic high leap, but I want to add some Mad Jelly in there simply for some added buoyancy.

Down B: Mad Jelly

It will throw a blob of Mad Jelly which will then attack to a character and stick them in place.

Final Smash: Jelly Trap OR Frozen Jelly

There's really two good options here. One would feature all of the characters getting stuck in jelly and pulled toward the Gekko who will then unleash a flurry of strikes OR the Gekko will leap up to the top of the stage with its Mad Jelly. The jelly will then freeze and crash down on top of the stage. I like both, so I'm not sure which.

Entrance: It will transform from a frog.

Taunts: Up, it will revert into a frog and sing for a bit. Side, it will sit on its Snapper and spin in place for a second. Down, it will just turn into a frog and shake its head.

Thanks for reading! Next up, someone sure to kill all the fighters . . . to death!
