Today, we will be covering Sir Grodus, the "main" villain of Paper Mario: the Thousand-Year Door. He is the leader of the X-Nauts, a race of aliens living on the moon who joined forced with the Shadow Sirens to wake up their queen who would then give them the power to conquer the world. This plan was not well thought-through though, as Grodus ended up being literally vaporized by the queen the second she was set free.

There's not too much to cover, but definitely enough. In his battle, he is almost always surrounded by Yuxes, little X-shaped creatures that project a shield around him when they're out and they shoot projectiles of their own. He can also use his wand to summon lightning, shoot a beam of blue fire, and freeze opponents. He can also make himself dodgy so he can avoid moves. Not sure about an upward aerial move, but we'll figure it out.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: X-Yux
This move will allow him to summon an X-Yux. He can summon up to two. If two are out a shield will be automatically projected around him, making him invulnerable to hits until you take one of the two out. If he has two out, pressing B again will cause them to shoot a projectile.

Side B: Blue Fire
This will be his basic projectile move that he uses throughout the game, firing a small bolt of blue energy at the opponent.

Up B: Time Out
This one's a bit of a stretch, but I think it can work. It would kind of work on the principle of he would freeze time for a second, giving the impression that he disappeared and reappeared in a new location. You might also use the wavy animation from his dodgy ability as he "teleports." I don't know.

Down B: Lightning
This one's pretty basic. He will call down a burst of lightning, just like he does in the game.

Final Smash: Shadow Queen
This is technically also going to be the Final Smash of the Shadow Sirens, but it also works for him. He will summon the Shadow Queen, who will send her tendrils across the stage, dragging the characters into her realm.

Entrance: He will step off of the lift from his moon base.

Taunts: Tapping his sceptre in his hand. A secret taunt might make use of TEC-XX. If I remember right, he had a silly laugh like Crump did.

Thanks for reading! Next up, we'll cover Count Bleck!
