Character Sheet: ReDead

REDEAD

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

As Gibdos were functionally recolors of the ReDeads in the Ocarina/Majora engine, it seems only right that they get brought along too as an echo of their sandy counterparts. ReDeads are the "zombies" of the Zelda universe, most well known for becoming the primary inhabitants of Castle Town after Ganondorf's takeover in the future.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Scream

Naturally. Probably slightly more powerful.

Side B: Grapple

The same. Maybe with better grip.

Up B: Bat Wings

Seems like it would be the appropriate tradeoff there.

Down B: Shadow Storm

Instead of a swirl of sand, they will let out a light scream and ghostly flames will swirl around them.

Final Smash: Castle Town Horde

An opponent hit by the attack will find themselves in Ocarina's Castle Town, surrounded by ReDeads who swarm them like a zombie horde.

Entrance: The famous scream will sound as they shamble onto the stage.

Taunts: Up, they will let out their scream. Side, they will stumble forward and let out their moan. Down, they will seem to be hit and fall over on the ground.

Kirby Hat: It's face as a mask.

Kart: Based on a tombstone from the graveyard.

Special Move: It will let out its scream and freeze nearby racers in their tracks for a second.

Spirit Battle: A horde battle on Hyrule Castle.

Victory Screen: The sky will turn dark and a horde of them will shamble around the screen.

Losing Screen: They will burn up in the sunlight and disappear.

Color Swaps: The original Ocarina design, the 3D Ocarina design, the Wind Waker design, the Triforce Heroes design, and a recolor of each.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Gleeok attacks from three different angles.
