Yves

YVES

Crypt of the NecroDancer was a rhythm game published in 2015 by the indie studio Brace Yourself Games. Somehow, some way, they worked out a deal with Nintendo in 2019 to turn the sequel into a crossover, in which the game’s main character Cadence ended up in Hyrule and teamed up with Link and Zelda. Though most characters in the original game belong more to NecroDancer than Zelda, it did feature a secret unlockable character who acted as an end-of-game hard mode.

This character was Yves, a Deku Scrub hanging around Tingle for most of the game. Without any arms, he was incapable of using most of the weapons the others could use, and he only came with one heart, making any hit an insta-kill. Though limited, he could still do enough to warrant a moveset.

As a fighter, he will probably have awful defense, matching up with his theme in the game, but he will have quick, strong moves to make up for it, pulling from everything he could do in Cadence.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.
