PINKLE
Now, let's cover a small batch of new characters from the obscure side of the Zelda series, most if not all hailing from the Tingle series such as Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and Ripened Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love. They may not be household names, but they made their case enough for me to accept them in. They are:
1. Pinkle
2. Tingle's Troupe
3. Aba
4. Yamori
5. Uncle Rupee
6. Majiyo
7. Segare
8. Oinker
First up is Pinkle, originally introduced as a save-point/virtual girlfriend for Tingle provided by Uncle Rupee in order to help him gather as many rupees as possible, before it is revealed that she is the daughter of the Grand Fairy imprisoned by the villain. Though released in the end, she never appears in the sequel. She doesn't do much outside of saving your game, but I have chosen to go the echo fighter route with her, as she was designed to be a female counterpart for Tingle.
Here's her moveset based on Tingle's:
Standard B: Rupee Slingshot
Replacing Tingle's old move is his slingshot from Balloon Trip of Love, with Pinkle taking it on as well.
Side B: Rumble
Tingle will now pull his opponents into a fight cloud, racking up heavy damage while they are inside. This will be taken on by Pinkle as well.
Up B: Balloon Float
A natural move to keep around for both of our fighters.
Down B: Trophy Smash
Same, but Pinkle's will instead be a trophy of the Grand Fairy instead of Tingle.
Final Smash: Rupee Blaster
Tingle will keep his Balloon Bombs from before, but Pinkle will instead take on the Rupee Blaster used to defeat Uncle Rupee. She will sit at the edge of the screen and blast the stage with a stream of rupees, guided by a crosshairs.
Entrance: She will emerge from the device she is trapped in.
Taunts: Up, she will mimic the "Koolooh Limpah" dance. Side, she will do her little animation to save your game. Down, she will hold up a full bag of rupees and look impressed.
