OINKER
Now, let's cover a small batch of new characters from the obscure side of the Zelda series, most if not all hailing from the Tingle series such as Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and Ripened Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love. They may not be household names, but they made their case enough for me to accept them in. They are:
1. Pinkle
2. Tingle's Troupe
3. Aba
4. Yamori
5. Uncle Rupee
6. Majiyo
7. Segare
8. Oinker
And last but not least, we have the Oinkers, basically the main mooks of Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, who probably exist because Tingle would never stand a chance against actual Moblins (Hyrule Warriors not withstanding). The Oinkers pose a constant threat to Tingle throughout his quest, the penultimate dungeon even acting as their lair.
Across the game, we see them using bombs, swords, shields, and lances, casting spells, rolling around on large balls, performing spinning attacks with their swords, circling up and raging, calling in even more Oinkers, calling down meteors, floating, and summoning waves of magic. I'd say that's certainly enough for our purposes.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Bomb
The Oinker will pull out a bomb and toss it forward. It will do moderate damage upon explosion.
Side B: Jousting Lance
It will pull out a lance and charge forward, not doing as much damage as, say, a Moblin might with a similar attack.
Up B: Bouncy Ball
A large ball will pop up beneath the Oinker. A second tap will allow the pig to bounce off of the ball into the air, but simply navigating forward will let it roll across the stage.
Down B: Spellcaster
The Oinker will pull out a magic wand and cast a spell as a projectile that will stun the enemy.
Final Smash: Oinker Fortress
It will call in a horde of Oinkers as fortress walls appear around the stage. Those Oinkers on the stage will rage and attack everything in sight, while still more will throw projectiles from the walls.
Entrance: A fortress gate will open and the Oinker will march out.
Taunts: Up, the Oinker will raise its spear and tap it on the ground. Side, the Oinker will pace back and forth as if on duty. Down, the Oinker will gather up a bunch of Rupees and stash them in a bag.
Thanks for reading! And now . . . should I do it? It would be a pretty small roster . . . you know what, I'm gonna do it!
