Piranha Plants are an interesting case for the Yoshi series. They appear throughout, in pretty much every game, but they have a completely different look and feel to them that then remains the same throughout the series, almost like you have a Mario series Piranha and a Yoshi series Piranha. These versions hang out outside of pots or pipes and are constantly chomping, following your movements with their heads. There are also a few alternate types of Piranha, such as a prickly kind that spits projectiles at you, and a winged blue ghostly version that flies around a set path. There are also a few bosses throughout, such as Naval Piranha and Bungee Piranha, which normally have additional tendrils and lots and lots of vines everywhere.
Here's what we've got so far:
Standard B: Fireball
Standard B: Fireball
Side B: Ptooie
Also kind of doubles as representation for the projectile spitting kind, I guess.

Up B: Fly
Can kind of represent Hootie the Blue Fish, I guess. Same basic principle.

Down B: Paint
Gonna keep it
Final Smash: Naval Piranha
Naval Piranha appears behind the stage, her vines spreading across every single platform and binding the characters touching the ground. She will then spew Nipper spores across the stage.
Entrance: Pops out of a pipe.
Taunts: Chomping around the way he does. Doing the iconic up and down movement. Maybe the sleep animation.
Next up: Let's cover Boo!
