Character Sheet: Sing

SING

There's not much point to a big returning character review this time around, so let's cover the small handful of characters we were able to pull from the Legend of Zelda cartoon series created by DiC, and the few western comics published under the Zelda series banner. We have eleven to add, including:

1.     TV Link

2.     TV Zelda

3.     King Harkinian

4.     Queen Seline

5.     Roam

6.     Sing

7.     Doof & Automaton

8.     Sleezenose

9.     TV Ganon

10.  Goriya

11.  Water Monster

Honestly, a one-off character I could have seen more of. Sing came from an episode where Ganon had gained a new advantage in the form of a winged Pegasus. Link and Zelda infiltrated the underworld to defeat him and came across a ninja warrior from a faraway land named Sing, the rightful owner of the Pegasus who had come to steal it back. Together, Link, Zelda, and Sing freed the Pegasus, and Sing took her steed back home.

As a fighter on her own, Sing mainly used a pair of sai, which could shoot beams just like Link's sword and could also act as throwing weapons. She could also leap really high. But on top of that, she also has her Pegasus steed, which could fly and strike people with its hooves. Not much, but it gets by.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Sai Beams

She will fire a series of bright energy beams from her sai, functioning in similar manner to Link's sword beam.

Side B: Pegasus Kick

She will mount her Pegasus which will kick behind her with, well, the strength of a horse, and send opponents flying.

Up B: Pegasus Flight

She will grab onto her Pegasus's back as it takes off straight up into the air and away from danger.

Down B: Sai Throw

She will throw her sai rather than fire beams from them, snagging opponents by their clothing and dragging them backwards.

Final Smash: Attack from the Skies

She will mount her steed and take off into the air, making several passes and attacking with her sai beams in similar fashion to Ganon's attacks from the beginning.

Entrance: She will drop onto the stage and remove her mask.

Taunts: Up, she will hug her Pegasus's head and give it treats. Side, she will hold out her sai and take up an attack stance. Down, she will crouch and put back on her mask.

Thanks for reading! Next up, the local handyman from Zelda's Castle.
