Character Sheet: Kala

KALA

Alright, so we did have one more semi-big character list in us. Let's get into it! This is all characters I could pull out originating from the Legend of Zelda manga, or were given just enough of a boost by the manga to make it into our rankings. They are:

1. Maple

2. Jolene

3. Ricky

4. Captain Stalfos

5. Manga Link

6. Riruto

7. Manga Zelda

8. Raska

9. Tou

10. Ghanti

11. Gonza

12. Kala

13. Captain Arjuna

14. Sir Raven

15. Biri

16. Com

17. Gump

18. Shemlon

19. Rouro

20. Ganon's Minion

21. Ganon's Heart

22. Ganos

23. Haggis

Today, let's cover Riruto's second companion on his journey, a young bandit with a shapeshifting ferret and a heavyset companion named Cho who aids her with magic. If nothing else, I at least can't quite pin her down to one specific Dragon Ball character, she's more of a mishmash of Bulma, Launch, Yamcha again, with Puar and Yajirobe knockoffs as companions. Anyway, she puts Riruto and Gonza through a couple of tests before deciding to join them on their journey.

I imagine that Kala will make use of her own moves and Cho's, as Cho himself didn't do enough to warrant a spot. This gives her her ferret that can transform into a giant worm or a winged dragon, as well as physical moves such as a punch and a pile driver. Cho can likewise control rope with a flute, tying up opponents with it, and he provides the power bracelet to Riruto. Between the two of them, I'd say we have enough.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Punch

Being a bit of a physical brawler, it makes sense that a strong punch would make its way into this set. I figure the piledriver works more as a spiking move.

Side B: Giant Worm

Her ferret will grow up to massive size and turn into a worm that she will grab hold of and ride as it plows forward.

Up B: Dragon

Her ferret will transform itself into its dragon form and carry her up into the air alongside it.

Down B: Cho's Rope

Cho will appear, playing on his flute as his rope shoots forward and binds up the nearest opponent, limiting their movements for a while.

Final Smash: The Test

Based on the test she and Cho put Riruto and Gonza through, she will strike an opponent and that opponent will find themselves standing on an invisible bridge over a pool of lava, will wobble for a second, and then fall in, being KO'd in the process.

Entrance: She will jump down with her arms crossed and look smug.

Taunts: Up, she will flash the player a cocky look. Side, she will play with her ferret as it runs around her shoulders. Down, she will lean against Cho as he plays some music.

Thanks for reading! Next up, we return to the Cagiva manga for another companion of Link.
