KOOPA TROOPA
Today, let's let the floodgates burst forth. The RPGs, being RPGs, have proved a wellspring of brand-new characters and possible major revisions of pre-existing characters. Since there are so many, I will start by covering all of the revisions first. Here they are:
1. Mario
2. Luigi
3. Princess Peach
4. Toad
4e. Toadette
5. Bowser
6. Bowser Jr.
7. The Koopalings
8. Koopa Troopa
8e. Dry Bones
9. Goomba
10. Piranha Plant
11. Boo
12. Blooper
13. Lakitu and Spinies
14. Monty Mole
15. Hammer Bro
16. Wiggler
17. Chain Chomp
18. Birdo
19. Petey Piranha
20. Yoshi
21. Kamek
22. Shy Guy
23. Bandit
Today, let's cover the Koopa Troopa. The Koopa race appears all throughout this series in a variety of roles, but the most important, I feel, is the characters of Kooper, Koops, and Parakarry, your companions throughout the first two Paper Mario games, and your representative Koopas and Paratroopa respectively (as there is no Paratroopa slot). They will be color swaps, possibly switched to paper 2D models for those. I didn't feel they should be their own movesets, as their movesets in-game basically amount to token "Koopa" and "Paratroopa" movesets respectively.
Kooper's moves in the first game are all basically four different power levels of the same move: tucking into his shell and spinning forward. Koops is very similar, except that he adds in a giant shell he uses to shield himself and Mario, and a move similar to another used by Parakarry. Parakarry is much the same, except airborne, and can also pick up enemies and carry them away. The move shared by Koops and Parakarry sees several shells rocketing across the screen. Other notable additions throughout the series includes the Koopatrols, armored Koopas wielding lances.
Here is the character's moveset:
Standard B: Koopatrol Spear
This one works more as an echo to the bone throw for Dry Bones and can represent the Koopatrol race. They will throw one of the spears carried by the race.

Side B: Shell Spin
Up B: Paratroopa
Maybe bear some resemblance to Parakarry's Shell Shot and fly upward inside the shell.

Down B: Shell Shield
Rather than just tucking into the shell, they'll now borrow from Koops and cover themselves in a large Koopa shield.

Final Smash: Air Raid
This one will cover the move used by Koops and Parakarry and send a number of shells flying all over the screen, both Koopa and Paratroopa shells together.

Entrance: Starts out in his shell, before emerging using the standard animation.
Taunts: Giving a thumbs up and making the iconic Koopa sound, stepping outside of his shell and looking it over while in his underwear, maybe sleeping like a Snooza Koopa. Or maybe some of the companion moves, like Koops rubbing the back of his head.
Next up: Let's update the echo fighter, Dry Bones!
