Character Sheet: Lakitu (Lakilester)

LAKITU

Today, let's let the floodgates burst forth. The RPGs, being RPGs, have proved a wellspring of brand-new characters and possible major revisions of pre-existing characters. Since there are so many, I will start by covering all of the revisions first. Here they are:

1. Mario
2. Luigi
3. Princess Peach
4. Toad
4e. Toadette
5. Bowser
6. Bowser Jr.
7. The Koopalings
8. Koopa Troopa
8e. Dry Bones
9. Goomba
10. Piranha Plant
11. Boo
12. Blooper
13. Lakitu and Spinies
14. Monty Mole
15. Hammer Bro
16. Wiggler
17. Chain Chomp
18. Birdo
19. Petey Piranha
20. Yoshi
21. Kamek
22. Shy Guy
23. Bandit

Well, there's really not much to talk about this one. Lakitus appear throughout these games, mostly acting as Lakitus do. The one main exception is Lakilester, or Spike, your companion in the first Paper Mario game. All things considered, he's fairly basic as far as Lakitus go too. His four main attacks in the game consist of two Spiny-throwing attacks and a lightning attack, alongside a move called Cloud Nine, where he can carry Mario away from ground-based attacks. That's pretty much it really.

Here is his moveset again:

Standard B: Spiny

Side B: Fishing Rod

Up B: Cloud Nine
Since it has an actual name now . . . the move will function much as it normally does in Paper Mario, carrying him up into the sky.

Down B: Lightning

Final Smash: Lakithunder

Entrance: Floats down from above with its iconic sound.

Taunts: We haven't covered the Mario Kart series yet, but it's 3-2-1 opening makes a lot of sense, or maybe waving the flag at the end of a lap. Also tucking down behind his cloud and shifting his eyes back and forth for a second. Maybe pulling out a camera and checking its quality?

Next up: Let's cover the Monty Mole enemy!
