POKEMON: LET'S GO, PIKACHU AND EEVEE!
Next up, we have Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, a sort of tie-in console game with Pokemon Go!, that let's you travel around the world of Kanto in a sort of quasi-remake of the Gen I games with Go mechanics. Most of the core cast of the original games reappear, with the same gym leaders, Elite Four, and Professor Oak in the same roles, and Red and Blue appearing as mentors at certain points in the game. As for your playable characters, you now play as Chase or Elaine, two new kids going on their adventures, with a new rival in Trace, who basically does everything Blue does in the original, including becoming the champion before you. Leaf's original cut Red and Blue design also appears in the game, but is strangely called Green. I . . . don't know if they were trying to make her a different character or not. I'm still going to treat her as Leaf, personally. And as the name might imply, your starters are Pikachu and Eevee, mirroring Red and Blue's starters from Pokemon Yellow.
