HELIOPTILE/HELIOLISK
And now for one of my personal favorites of the Gen (not for any real good reason, I just think they're a fun concept). Helioptile and Heliolisk are based on the concept of lizards basking in the sun, combining that with solar panels and solar energy to make our very first Normal/Electric combo. They're also probably based on the basilisk lizard, the one that runs across water.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Thunder Shock > Thunderbolt
Side B: Quick Attack > Breaking Swipe
Up B: Volt Switch
Down B: Parabolic Charge > Morning Sun
Final Smash: Sun Blast
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Basking in the sun, doing the little basilisk run, things like that.
Kirby Hat: The tops of their heads and their frills
Kart: The Poke Ball car
Special Move: Morning Sun
Spirit Battle: On Lumiose City, stuck at the top of Lumiose Tower.
Victory Screen: Laid flat out on a rock and enjoying the sun.
Losing Screen: Fainted
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors.
