GOOMY/SLIGGOO/GOODRA
Next up, we come to . . . what everyone lists as the Pseudo-Legendary of Gen VI, even though Noibat and Noivern are in the Pseudo place in the roster, but apparently they don't count because they're two-stagers? I don't get it. And maybe there's a stats thing I don't grasp very well. Either way, Goomy, Sliggoo, and Goodra are based on snails/slugs, mixed with dragons, probably hearkening back to old Medieval heraldry where snails were frequently depicted as legendary fantasy creatures alongside dragons. They also pull a bit from slimes being the frequent basic starting enemy in some fantasy RPGs, with dragons being among the more powerful enemies.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Dragon Breath
Side B: Water Pulse > Acid Spray (II) > Power Whip (III)
Up B: Flail > Body Slam (II)
Down B: Protect > Acid Armor (II)
Final Smash: Slime Horde > Dragon Rage (III)
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Bobbing up and down for a second, peeling away a bit of slime, enjoying a bit of rain, things like that.
Kirby Hat: Made of their slime
Kart: The Poke Ball car
Special Move: Acid Armor
Spirit Battle: On Kalos Pokemon League, the dragon version
Victory Screen: Standing on a castle's ledge and enjoying some rain.
Losing Screen: Fainted
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors
