Goron

GORON

After receiving his quest from Zelda to collect the three sacred stones, Link will head up to Death Mountain, where he will find it inhabited by a race of rock creatures who like to roll around and eat rocks.

These are the Gorons, one of the five races of Hyrule who would soon become staples of all Zelda games following after. They are friendly and like to celebrate, and often welcome Link into their society as a brother.

As fighters, they will be strong and durable, though maybe not so much as their named counterparts. Their moveset will pull from the general abilities and features demonstrated by Gorons throughout the franchise.

Likelihood rating: Could happen.

Character Sheet: Goron

GORON

And here's all the characters that I gave a definitive YES to during my second chance round. They are:

1.       Fierce Deity Link

2.       Kalin

3.       Darbus

4.       Ralis

5.       Gulley

6.       Osfala

7.       Irene

8.       Rosso

9.       Queen Oren

10.   Paya

11.   Rune

12.   Kanan

13.   Talon

14.   Ingo

15.   Gwonam

16.   Tetra’s Crew

17.   Kokiri

18.   Goron

19.   Zora

20.   Rito

21.   Korok

22.   Gerudo

23.   Stalchildren

24.   Ganon Blight

Next up, we have the Gorons, Hyrule's resident Rock/Fire types who live on and in Death Mountain, eating rocks. Originating in Ocarina of Time, they have been a favorite staple to include in just about every single game since. Before now, Darmani basically inherited the standard Goron moveset, while others built theirs on Warriors movesets. Now, Gorons can act as his echo.

Here is their moveset:

Standard B: Giant Punch

Maybe a bit less strong than Darmani's. He is a trained hero after all, while they are general civilians.

Side B: Roll

Naturally.

Up B: Ground Pound

Same.

Down B: Bomb Flower

One of their favorites.

Final Smash: Biggoron

I'd still be down with this. Or Death Mountain's eruption. Either way.

Entrance: They will wake up from sleeping as a rock and sit up.

Taunts: Up, they will dance around happily. Side, they will perform a sumo stance. Down, they will do the "get up, stand up, sit down, go to sleep" routine.

Kirby Hat: Their rocky shells.

Kart: Rolling along as a ball.

Special Move: Leaving a bomb flower behind.

Spirit Battle: A horde battle on Death Mountain.

Victory Screen: They will dance around excitedly in their caves.

Losing Screen: They will all be frozen in ice.

Color Swaps: Every notably distinct Goron model besides the noted players.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Zora makes a splash!
