MARIO AND DONKEY KONG: MINIS ON THE MOVE

Today, let's cover Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move, a 3DS eShop game that existed primarily to be a tech demo reimagining the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series in a 3D environment. Mario, Pauline, and Donkey Kong join their talents to create a brand new series of worlds for the minis to explore, with the Mini Marios, Mini Peaches, Mini Donkey Kongs, Mini Toads, and Mini Paulines as the main playable characters mostly just doing what they do, if a bit more simplified.

The game has four worlds: Mario's Main Event, that makes use of falling tiles; Puzzle Palace, with a series of mazes; Many Mini Mayhem, with shifting and rotating tiles; and Giant Jungle, which brings it all together. Enemies in this world are sparse, with only Shy Guys, Fly Guys, and Bullet Bills appearing alongside the returning Capture and Circus Kongs.
