KIRBY MERCHANDISE

As one might guess, right off the bat, we have so many plushies. Our little pink friend certainly lends himself well to them, as well as a few for Dedede, Meta Knight, Waddle Dees, his animal friends, Ribbon, Adeleine, Marx, Magolor, Taranza, Susie, and just about every copy ability under the sun. The plushie page is VERY long. There are quite a few figurines too. I notice that Planet Robobot specifically is a favorite there, and snow globes are apparently popular. Also keychains are common, as are magnets.

As for wearables, Kirby's aesthetic is an easily marketable print for girls and boys alike, and he makes for lots of cute accessories. With food, I should have seen the marshmallow candies coming, as well as a lot of specialty items sold at the Kirby Pupupu Train yearly events. The series has lots of great music, and so has seen about eighteen different CD soundtracks. There are a handful of playing card decks, a pinball machine, and just a bunch of other random things like mugs and stickers. And then of course, we have the Kirby Cafe, a restaurant chain in Japan entirely themed around Kirby.

What else can I say. It's an art book released alongside Star Allies, basically to celebrate the game being an attempt at an Endgame-level series crossover. It's got all the various characters and worlds in it, and all the basics.

20TH ANNIVERSARY KIRBY PUPUPU ENCYCLOPEDIA

Today, let's cover a special encyclopedia released in 2012 as part of the Kirby series' 20th anniversary. It is packed with information on all games and media released up to that point, which I think brings us up to Return to Dream Land in the core series, possibly with Super Star Ultra and Rainbow Curse as the latest releases.

Next up, it's time for the Kirby comics that appeared in Nintendo Power, which are basically just recreations of the first two episodes of Kirby: Right Back at Ya! that ran from July to October 2022. That's all there is to say. Kirby did crop up a bit in the Nintendo Comics System, often crossing over with Mario and Link, but he apparently didn't have many comics of his own as far as I could find in my research. I don't know.

KIRBY PICTURE BOOK SERIES

Kirby: A Stroll in the Sky and Kirby: The Strange Sweets Island are a pair of picture books written by Nao Ootsuka and illustrated by Poto and Tau Karino written in 2016 and 2017. They are fairly simple cutesy books with simple stories, so there's not much else to them.
