FIGURE TRAINER
For this generation, we have four newcomers that lie outside of the standard Pokedex, and will be placed in the Non-Dex roster. They are:
1. Figure Trainer
2. Lisia
3. Pikachu Libre
4. Shadow Mewtwo
First up is the Figure Trainer, pulling from the short-lived Pokemon Trading Figure Game and its tie-in video game Pokemon Duel. Although as far as I could tell, the Player's Avatar had no canon character design, the player was guided in the game by a pair of rivals, Luca and Sharon. These will act as the main body of the character.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Figure Swap
Luca or Sharon will send out a figure to act in front of them, based on those of the first set that had been released, and maybe some of the planned two that never fully came out. Pressing it again will swap out the figures. They'll probably have a randomly selected group of five, but maybe people who still have some of the original figures will be able to plug them into the game somehow or something.
Side B: Attack
Basically, the present figure will land on a White or Purple space and perform the attack listed there, doing damage to their opponent.
Up B: Spin
The player will give the figure a little spin and be carried upward by it.
Down B: Dodge
The figure will land on the blue space and dodge an attack.
Final Smash: Figure Storm
The figures of the first three sets will swarm the stage, performing attacks on all around them.
Entrance: Luca or Sharon will step up and pull out a favorite figure
Taunts: Up, picking up and polishing the figure. Side, spinning it for a second. Down, laying out the game board for a second.
Kirby Hat: Luca's hair
Kart: A small platform based on their figure bases.
Special Move: Spin
Spirit Battle: On Go Stadium
Victory Screen: Placing the figure on the Goal space and cheering!
Losing Screen: Getting sent to the Pokemon Center space.
Color Swaps: Luca, Sharon, swapping with alternate colors based on the gym bosses released for the game.
Thanks for reading! Next up, Lisia is ready to put on a show!
