Gooey

GOOEY

Another character introduced in Kirby’s Dream Land 2 was Gooey, a small blue blob that would appear in a bag and give you a bonus.

This is Gooey, Kirby’s best friend and a small piece of Dark Matter broken off from the whole. He would go on to play the Player Character role in Dream Land 3, using his tongue to mimic Kirby’s copy ability, and would have sparse roles throughout the series from there.

As a fighter, Gooey would be light and bouncy, using his tongue to copy abilities just like Kirby. His moveset would pull heavily from Dream Land 3 where he is the Player 2.
