MARIO GOLF: ADVANCE TOUR
So, remember how the Game Boy Color game followed after the Tennis handheld games, and had an RPG mode with a generic character working their way up through an academy in order challenge the champion, Mario? Yeah, that. Again.
This game, like the others like it, is more or less a simplified version of its console counterpart, with the golf mechanics being much the same. You get two new protagonists, Neil and Ella, respectively, attending the same tournament as before. Kid, Sherry, Joe, Azalea, Putts, Grace, Tiny, and Gene Yuss also appear in the game and can be unlocked as playable. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario, Waluigi, and Bowser all appear as your standard Mario roster.
The Marion, Palms, Dune, and Links courses from the previous handheld game all return, alongside a Mushroom Tourney course, set high in the clouds, and two short courses, called Elf's Short Course and Coo-Coo Course respectively.
That's pretty much all of it. Here's what we've got!

Gimmick rep (Plum/Charlie/Sonny/Harry/Maple): swing club, hole, sand traps, hazards, topspin, backspin, power shot, more fantastical hazards
