Evil Eric & Tammy Treehugger

Though Tommy and Co-MC would be the stars of Club Mario, they wouldn’t be the only recurring characters in its short-lived run. Frequently, Co’s evil twin and Tommy’s troublemaking sister would team up against the pair, tying them up and taking over the hosting of the show for themselves.

These two, Evil Eric and Tammy Treehugger, would act as loose villains of sorts for the hosts to contend with from time to time. Tommy would eventually end up befriending Eric, leading the pair to ease up on their troublemaking and start simply hanging out with the hosts on the set.

They will be echo fighters of their siblings in game, with a bit more punch to their attacks than their more benevolent counterparts. Their moves will likewise mirror the hosts’, though with slight tweaks here and there to match their personalities. Side note: Tommy with Tammy as a color swap and Co with Eric as a color swap is also a viable alternative.

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). But, there are so many that are so distinct from their game counterparts, I could only make a brand new slot for them. They are:

You know, now that I'm actually doing the blogs, it probably would have made more sense to have Tommy and Co be the main fighter and echo fighter, and their respective siblings be the color swaps, that way we'd have the more recognizable characters up front on the roster. Oh well, at the end of the day, the four characters are represented in some way and that's all that matters.

Eric and Tammy are the troublemaking siblings of Tommy and Co, Eric being Co's "evil" twin and Tammy being Tommy's playful younger sister, both of whom frequently teamed up to get their siblings out of the way and take over their show. Eric was played, just like his brother, by Michael Anthony Rawlins, and Tammy was played by Victoria Delany. Everything I said about Michael yesterday still stands, while this seems to be Victoria's only acting credit (which I'm guessing means she was just a friend or family member of one of the crew and wasn't all that into acting in general). Reprisal would be anyone's guess.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Trash Bag

They would totally do this same move, though I could see them hitting harder with it.

Side B: Yo-Yo

More or less the same as said with the trash bag move.

Up B: Roller Blade Jump

They definitely would not have the finesse that their siblings would have and would probably do it like they stole their sibling's blades, strapped them on, and went for a joyride.

Down B: Mini-Golf

Honestly, they'd probably forego the golf ball and instead strike one of their siblings' belongings as the ball (probably something breakable).

Final Smash: Princess Centauri

They'd probably have the villains and enemies of "Photon" appear instead of the heroes.

Entrance: It would be fun if we had their respective sibling sitting on the couch like in their entrance animation, but then have Tammy or Eric appear from behind the couch, grab them, and pull them over, taking their place.

Taunts: Up, they will hold up and play with Tammy's dolls (Eric would probably be looking at them as if they're weird). Side, the character not on the stage would appear and the pair would rub their hands together sneakily. Down, they would look over their siblings' remotes and accidentally drop and break them.

CLUB MARIO

So, I may have mentioned how Lou Albano and Danny Wells chose not to return for season two, and thus their live action segments were discontinued as well. Well, for a short time, the series runners attempted to replace those segments with this: basically a pair of the most obnoxiously stereotypical 90's teenagers sitting on a rooftop, talking about how "kewl" Mario and Luigi are, and generally being dicks to everyone around them. This may take the ultimate top spot of most disliked Mario-related thing I've ever covered on this blog.

Regardless of my feelings on it, I will be fair and give these characters a shot too. Our main characters are Tommy Treehugger and Co-MC, played by Chris Coombs and Michael Anthony Rawlins respectively. Over the course of the short-lived series, we see them roller blade, golf, yo-yo, throw trash around the place, and break apart the set here and there. Their most recurrent guests are Co-MC's brother Evil Eric and Tommy's sister Tammy, played by Michael Anthony Rawlins again and Victoria Delaney, who frequently team up to take over the show by knocking out the hosts and tying them up. Other recurring characters include Dr. Know-it-all, who exists only to be treated like crap, and Princess Centauri, a host of a sci-fi show about a spaceman named Bodie Lee. As for locations, it's basically just the rooftop were they host.
