CHARCADET/ARMAROUGE/CERULEDGE
Next, we have a sort of mascot-type line for this generation, with the unique gimmick of having a split evolution, evolving into one depending on if you’re playing Scarlet or Violet. Charcadet is a young knight-in-training made entirely of fire while wearing armor. In Scarlet, it becomes Armarouge, which has Mega Man cannons built onto its arms, while in Violet, it becomes Ceruledge, with ghostly flaming swords.
Here’s the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Will O’ Wisp > Armor Cannon | Bitter Blade
Side B: Flame Charge > Psyshock (A)
Up B: Fire Spin > Mystical Fire | Shadow Sneak
Down B: Lava Plume > Night Shade (C)
Final Smash: Fire Tera-Type Incinerate > Fire Tera-Type
Armor Cannon | Fire Tera-Type Bitter Blade
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Training with its weapons, taking up martial arts
poses, things like that.
Kirby Hat: Their helmets
Kart: The Poke Ball car
Special Move: Will O’ Wisp > Armor Cannon | Bitter Blade
Spirit Battle: On Area Zero
Victory Screen: Spinning its weapon and taking up a victory
pose.
Losing Screen: Fainted
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors
Thanks for reading! Next up, Tadbulb lights up the stage!
