Character Sheet: All Hisui Variants and Evos

HISUIAN POKEMON

And now, with the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, we gained a bunch of new Hisuian regional variants, a few having new evolutions attached to them as well.

First up, we have Growlithe and Arcanine, who gain the Rock type and become much more based on Fu Dog statues specifically instead of just Fu Dogs themselves.

Standard B: Ember > Rock Throw

Side B: Fire Fang

Up B: Flame Wheel > Rock Slide

Down B: Retaliate > Raging Fury

Final Smash: Hisui Guardians

Since Legends: Arceus had new steam-powered PokeBalls made of wood, naturally, Voltorb and Electrode gained a new Grass type variant also made of wood.

Standard B: Bullet Seed > Seed Bomb

Side B: Rollout > Gyro Ball

Up B: Spark > Magnet Rise

Down B: Self-Destruct > Chloroblast

Final Smash: Ultimate Chloroblast

All of our starters for the game gained a Hisuian final form. Typhlosion specifically gained the Ghost typing, with spiritual flames spilling from its back instead of regular fire.

Standard B: Lava Plume

Final Smash: Spirit Eruption

Qwilfish gained the Dark-typing and became much more based on the type of puffer fish eaten by daring connoisseurs who will die if it was prepared even slightly incorrectly. It can now evolve into Overqwil, which also pulls from naval mines.

Standard B: Poison Sting > Barb Barrage

Side B: Bite > Crunch

Up B: Inflate

Down B: Spikes > Toxic Spikes

Final Smash: Naval Mine Field

Sneasel switches out Dark/Ice for Fighting/Poison, based much more on assassins with poison-tipped blades, now evolved into Sneasler instead of Weavile.

Standard B: Metal Claw > Dire Claw

Side B: Poison Jab

Up B: Quick Attack > Slash

Down B: Brick Break > Close Combat

Final Smash: Assassination

Samurott gains the Dark typing, with a much more intricate black helmet, like one worn by a ronin, a disgraced former samurai.

Standard B: Ceaseless Edge

Side B: Hydro Pump

Up B: Sucker Punch

Down B: Aqua Tail

Final Smash: Samurai of the Darkness

Lilligant grows big long legs and gains the Fighting type, now based on ice skaters like those who put on elegant dance routines at the Olympics and such.

Standard B: Leaf Blade

Side B: Axe Kick

Up B: Petal Blizzard

Down B: Giga Drain

Final Smash: Victory Dance

Zorua and Zoroark gain the Normal/Ghost combo, becoming more ghostly, vengeful spirits instead of shapeshifting tricksters.

Standard B: Scratch > Shadow Claw

Side B: Agility

Up B: Shadow Sneak

Down B: Spite > Nasty Plot

Final Smash: Bitter Malice

Braviary becomes Psychic type and is now more based on the Steller’s sea eagle instead of the bald eagle.

Standard B: Crush Claw

Side B: Air Slash

Up B: Esper Wing

Down B: Hurricane

Final Smash: Superpower

Sliggoo and Goodra now gain a solid steel snail’s shell on their tails, gaining the Steel type to go with them.

Standard B: Dragon Breath

Side B: Water Gun > Iron Tail

Up B: Flail > Heavy Slam

Down B: Shelter

Final Smash: Slime Horde > Iron Rage

Avalugg gains the Rock typing, with a rocky underbelly and one of those big wedge things used by ships and trucks to break up ice on its face.

Standard B: Blizzard

Side B: Rock Slide

Up B: Mountain Gale

Down B: Iron Defense

Final Smash: Glacial Crush

And finally Decidueye gains the Fighting type, and switches out its hood for a straw hat and takes inspiration from various ronin as well.

Standard B: Triple Arrows

Side B: Leaf Blade

Up B: Sucker Punch

Down B: Leafage

Final Smash: Sinister Arrow Raid

Also a bunch of Pokemon do not get regional forms, but still gain new additional evolutions. The first of these is Stantler, who now evolves into Wyrdeer, based heavily on the Sika Deer native to Hokkaido.

Standard B: Hypnosis > Zen Headbutt

Side B: Stomp

Up B: Take Down

Down B: Confuse Ray > Psyshield Bash

Final Smash: Stampede

Scyther gains a new evolution, where instead of becoming the Steel-type Scizor, it gains the Rock-typing and large battle axes instead of scythes, becoming Kleavor instead.

Standard B: X-Scissor

Side B: Stone Axe

Up B: Smack Down

Down B: Double Team

Final Smash: Multi-Axe Combo

Teddiursa and Ursaring now evolve further into Ursaluna, a Ground-type moon bear covered in peat.

Standard B: Slash

Side B: Headlong Rush

Up B: Thrash

Down B: Snore

Final Smash: Bear Attack

And finally, Basculin, gaining a new white-striped variant, can now evolve into Basculegion, the last survivor of its school, who carries the spirits of those who didn’t survive their migration in its tail, gaining the Ghost typing.

Standard B: Water Gun > Shadow Ball

Side B: Bite > Phantom Force

Up B: Wave Crash

Down B: Head Smash

Final Smash: Final Gambit

Though not a new evolution, the Kami Trio from Gen V gain a fourth member, the Love Goddess Enamorus, based on the Japanese Goddess Ugajin, as well as the black tortoise representing North in Chinese folklore.

Standard B: Moonblast

Side B: Hammer Arm

Up B: Fairy Wind

Down B: Reveal Glass

Final Smash: Springtide Storm

And, like before, all of the bonus stuff will mostly be the same as their original forms, just maybe updated a little for their new theming. All could reasonably have their Spirit Battles on Jubilife Village.
