TAUNIE/URBAIN
And now, we come to our small batch of non-Dex newcomers for Gen IX, including:
1. Paxton/Harmony
2. Taunie/Urbain
3. Pokopian Ditto
Next, we have our rival character from Legends Z-A, Taunie or Urbain, depending on which gender you're playing as they will be the opposite. While they are kind of a palette swap on a base level, there's enough distinction in the design to justify a fully separate character. They will still be an echo though.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Pokemon
Also one of the three. If the two are on stage together, they will always have a different one.
Side B: Dodge
Same
Up B: Lift Pad
Same
Down B: Wild Zone
Same. They might have a red one, while P/H would have a green one.
Final Smash: Mega Eternal Floette
They would have this, then P/H would have Mega Zygarde. That works. And specifically this would be the big tower-sized evil plant, not just the regular form.
Entrance: Stepping through a Wild Zone gate
Taunts: Up, raising a Poke Ball to the sky. Side, posing and flashing the Team MZ logo. Down, eating some croissant curry.
Kirby Hat: Their pinkish white hair
Kart: A Lumiose cab
Special Move: Lift Pad
Spirit Battle: On Hotel Z, with Paxton/Harmony and Eternal Floette.
Victory Screen: Showing the character moving up a letter grade in the tournament.
Losing Screen: Moving down a letter grade.
Color Swap: Taunie, Urbain, then outfits based on Naveen, Tarragon, Gwynn, Philippe, Lebanne, and Griselle, though considering her story, an outfit based on Jett or general Quasartico would also be fitting.
Thanks for reading! Next up, Pokopian Ditto builds a new settlement!
