MARIO KART 8 DELUXE

In what may be the most successful port on this list, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released on the switch, bringing with it every character and stage that appeared in the original game, including the DLC. On top of that, we also saw the addition of Bowser Jr. (who honestly should have been in the original, if anyone), King Boo, Dry Bones, and the Inkling Boy and Girl as guest stars. Another massive change was that they apparently learned from the mistake of just using tracks as battle courses, and included real battle courses. These included Battle Stadium, a high-tech battle course; Sweet Sweet Kingdom, a candy level; Dragon Palace, a Chinese-dragon themed battle level; Lunar Colony, based on Mario Galaxy; Wuhu Town; Luigi's Mansion; Battle Course 1 from the first Super Mario Kart; and Urchin Underpass, based on Splatoon.
