Down B: Fall Apart

Final Smash: Bone Mech

Here is the character's moveset:

Standard B: Shell Projectile

Side B: Shell Spin

Up B: Paratroopa

Down B: Shell Tuck

Final Smash: Koopa Mech

Entrance: Starts out in his shell, before emerging using the standard animation

Taunts: Giving a thumbs up and making the iconic Koopa sound, stepping outside of his shell and looking it over while in his underwear, maybe sleeping like a Snooza Koopa.

Next up: Let's cover his echo fighter, Dry Bones!

Character Sheet: Bowser (Side Character Spinoffs)

BOWSER

Today, we begin our next round of character sheets, with updates for every major character who appeared in the Luigi's Mansion series, Super Princess Peach, or Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker. Most of these should be fairly simple, with only four newcomers to speak of. They are:

1. Mario
2. Luigi
3. Princess Peach
4. Toad
4e. Toadette
5. Bowser
6. Koopa Troopa
6e. Dry Bones
7. Goomba
8. Piranha Plant
9. Boo
10. Blooper
11. Lakitu
12. Hammer Bro
13. Chargin' Chuck
14. Wiggler
15. Chain Chomp
16. Petey Piranha
17. King Boo
18. Kamek
19. Shy Guy
20. Vacuum Luigi (New)
20e. Professor E. Gadd (New)
21. Perry (New)
22. Ghost (New)

Today, let's cover Bowser. Bowser appeared exactly twice in this run of games, first as the main boss of Super Princess Peach, and second, as an . . . add-on to King Boo's boss battle. Basically, King Boo drove a giant Bowser body whose head could come off. I don't know if this was a giant puppet-thing King Boo created, or if Bowser died and King Boo was possessing his body or what, but I'd rather not think about that. Both of his battles featured basic Bowser stuff like stomping, charging, breathing fire, throwing spiky boulders at his enemies, and becoming a giant, but also included newer or lesser-seen stuff like ice breath, throwing hammers, and of course the mystical Vibe Sceptre and the ability of his severed head to float around without its body. Probably not much change to his moveset for right now.

Here's his moveset so far:

Standard B: Fire Breath

Side B: Boulders

Up B: Shell Spin

Down B: Slam Down

Final Smash: Giant Bowser

Entrance: Bowser will land in his Koopa Klown Kar.

Taunts: His evil laugh from Super Mario 64, many of his taunts from Odyssey and other games, holding up a captive something or other, the list goes on.

Next up: Let's quickly cover the Koopa Troopas!

Character Sheet: Toadette (Side Character Spinoffs)

TOADETTE

Today, we begin our next round of character sheets, with updates for every major character who appeared in the Luigi's Mansion series, Super Princess Peach, or Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker. Most of these should be fairly simple, with only four newcomers to speak of. They are:

1. Mario
2. Luigi
3. Princess Peach
4. Toad
4e. Toadette
5. Bowser
6. Koopa Troopa
6e. Dry Bones
7. Goomba
8. Piranha Plant
9. Boo
10. Blooper
11. Lakitu
12. Hammer Bro
13. Chargin' Chuck
14. Wiggler
15. Chain Chomp
16. Petey Piranha
17. King Boo
18. Kamek
19. Shy Guy
20. Vacuum Luigi (New)
20e. Professor E. Gadd (New)
21. Perry (New)
22. Ghost (New)

Toadette's going to be pretty simple here. Toadette appears as a second protagonist with Toad in Treasure Tracker, switching off playable roles with him for several chapters across the game. She can do everything he can do, and so it makes sense for her to remain an echo fighter to him.

Here's her moveset:

Standard B: Flashlight
Pretty much the same. I suppose it might have a more pink light to it or something to differentiate it, but that's really not necessary, so do as you will.

Side B: Pickaxe
Same as Toad's.

Up B: Propeller Hat

Down B: Treasure Chest

Final Smash: Mega Mushroom
Going to keep this here. In the process of writing this, I had a bit of an epiphany for what to do with Peachette, but given we haven't really actually seen her yet, I'm not going to touch it for now.

Entrance: She'd probably arrive aboard the Toad Brigade ship too, or maybe drop from a star carried by Wingo.

Taunts: "Hi!" A cute little wink, so on.

Next up: Let's cover the big baddie himself, Bowser!

Character Sheet: Toad (Side Character Spinoffs)

TOAD

Today, we begin our next round of character sheets, with updates for every major character who appeared in the Luigi's Mansion series, Super Princess Peach, or Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker. Most of these should be fairly simple, with only four newcomers to speak of. They are:

1. Mario
2. Luigi
3. Princess Peach
4. Toad
4e. Toadette
5. Bowser
6. Koopa Troopa
6e. Dry Bones
7. Goomba
8. Piranha Plant
9. Boo
10. Blooper
11. Lakitu
12. Hammer Bro
13. Chargin' Chuck
14. Wiggler
15. Chain Chomp
16. Petey Piranha
17. King Boo
18. Kamek
19. Shy Guy
20. Vacuum Luigi (New)
20e. Professor E. Gadd (New)
21. Perry (New)
22. Ghost (New)

Today, let's cover Toad! Toad appears primarily as a supporting character who doesn't do much across the Luigi's Mansion games and Super Princess Peach, but appeared in an entirely unique starring role in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. I went back and forth on this, whether or not Captain Toad would be his own thing, but I decided against it, as much of Treasure Tracker is built more on Toad's inability to do anything, instead relying on clever uses of the level's terrain itself to get around. And those things Toad could do here were already things he could do, what with plucking and throwing vegetables, the double cherry item, and use of a flashlight helmet, with the pickaxe being the only real new thing. Captain Toad is for sure a color swap though.

Here's his moveset:

Standard B: Flashlight
Using the intensity of his flashlight been to stun and damage his opponent the way he does to ghost enemies here. I figure it works better than the whole pick-up-and-throw mechanic, which honestly can function more as a grab.

Side B: Pickaxe
He will pull out his pickaxe and smack rapidly with it, doing a great deal of damage in the process, a unique move to Treasure Tracker.

Up B: Propeller Hat

Down B: Treasure Chest

Final Smash: Mega Mushroom

Entrance: He arrives aboard the Toad Brigade's ship, with the whistle bit.

Taunts: "Thank you, Mario, but our Princess is in another castle." That whistle bit at the beginning of the Toad Brigade's leitmotif. "Alright."

Next up: Let's cover his . . . sister . . . girlfriend . . . partner . . . whatever, Toadette!

Character Sheet: Princess Peach (Side Character Spinoffs)

PRINCESS PEACH

Today, we begin our next round of character sheets, with updates for every major character who appeared in the Luigi's Mansion series, Super Princess Peach, or Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker. Most of these should be fairly simple, with only four newcomers to speak of. They are:

1. Mario
2. Luigi
3. Princess Peach
4. Toad
4e. Toadette
5. Bowser
6. Koopa Troopa
6e. Dry Bones
7. Goomba
8. Piranha Plant
9. Boo
10. Blooper
11. Lakitu
12. Hammer Bro
13. Chargin' Chuck
14. Wiggler
15. Chain Chomp
16. Petey Piranha
17. King Boo
18. Kamek
19. Shy Guy
20. Vacuum Luigi (New)
20e. Professor E. Gadd (New)
21. Perry (New)
22. Ghost (New)

Hey guys, she's not the damsel in distress this time around! Or, well, at least for only one out of five. Princess Peach does not appear at all in the first two Luigi's Mansion games, only has a brief cameo in Treasure Tracker, is among the "damsels" in Luigi's Mansion 3, and has a starring role in Super Princess Peach. However, I'm hesitant to say that the moveset unique to that game should define her, as the fact that Peach's one starring game is entirely built around extreme mood swings is a bit of a controversial subject for many fans, so I felt it probably best to keep her moveset built around her appearances in other games, and let her living parasol Perry act as the gimmick rep for Super Princess Peach. I think that's a fair compromise, yes?

Here is her moveset:

Standard B: Toadsworth

Side B: Parasol Smack

Up B: Parasol

Down B: Vegetable

Final Smash: Music Box

Entrance: She floats down from the sky on her parasol.

Taunts: Her kiss of Mario at the end of many games could be one, a lot of her small movements throughout her cutscenes perhaps, some of her victory screens from Super Mario 3D World maybe.

Next up: It's time for our boy, Toad!
