And finally, we end off our Unova gym leaders with Marlon, the Water-type gym leader of Humilau City. He is a swimmer and fisherman by trade, which feeds heavily into his design and personality, and I think we won’t have too much problem with moveset.

Here’s the moveset I came up with:

 

Standard B: Jellicent

Will use Surf.

 

Side B: Fast Swim

He will dive into the stage as if water and swim at high speed.

 

Up B: Fisherman’s Leap

He will leap up out of the water, spin, and land on the ground.

 

Down B: Net

He will toss out the net he carries around and trap opponents.

 

Final Smash: Humilau Gym Fisher’s Catch

He will send out a Jellicent, Alomomola, and Basculin, which will cause a tidal wave across the stage.

 

Entrance: His opening line and pose.

 

Taunts: Up, he will hold up his catch of the day. Side, he will wax a surfboard. Down, he will float on his back for a second.

 

Kirby Hat: His hair

 

Kart: Based on Jellicent

Special Move: Fast Swim

 

Spirit Battle: On White Forest (omega form) with his original team.

 

Victory Screen: Holding up a net with a bunch of items in it.

Losing Screen: Handing over his badge.

 

Color Swaps: His main outfit, a more beach-themed outfit, one based on male Jellicent, based on female Jellicent, based on Samurott, based on Alomomola, based on Basculin, based on Swanna, based on Cress.
