GLASTRIER/SPECTRIER/CALYREX
In the Crown Tundra DLC, we encounter Calyrex, a rabbit-deer thing with a pincushion on its head heavily based on the King Arthur mythos, with it being an ancient king of the Galar region who brought peace and prosperity to the region before disappearing for thousands of years, prophesied to return someday and restore the kingdom to its former glory. We also meet Glastrier and Spectrier, the frozen body and ghost respectively of Calyrex’s ancient steed, which you encounter depending on which game you’re playing.
Here’s the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Icicle Crash | Shadow Ball | Psyshock
Side B: Avalanche | Double Kick | Solar Beam
Up B: Mist | Agility | Heal Pulse
Down B: Iron Defense | Hex | Mega Drain/Mount
The idea would be that when Calyrex and his mounts are in
the same match, on the same team, Calyrex would have Mount, which will let him
hop onto his steed, giving over motion control to the steed’s player while both
players can still attack.
Final Smash: The Wild Hunt
Entrance: Approaching a carrot patch.
Taunts: Calyrex focusing and speaking mentally, the horses
chomping on a carrot, other things like that.
Kirby Hat: The horses’ manes, Calyrex’s crown.
Kart: Calyrex riding one of the steeds
Special Move: Icicle Crash, Shadow Ball, and Psyshock
Spirit Battle: On Jubilife Village
Victory Screen: Calyrex nodding before leading his horses
away into the mist
Losing Screen: Fainted
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors
Thanks for reading! Now, we have a couple of standalones to cover. First up, Eternatus threatens all of Galar!
