TOGEPI/TOGETIC
Next we'll skip over a trio of new baby forms for pre-existing lines, and go straight to the literal poster child for the new egg-hatching and Pokemon breeding concept introduced in this generation as a whole, Togepi. Togepi is most famous for its early appearance in the anime, where it became basically the signature companion of Misty for most of her time on the show. It is a generic baby thing still wearing its egg shell like a onesie, and it then evolves into a strange bird of some kind with the egg's pattern still on its body. It also gains an additional evolution in Gen IV with Togekiss, but we'll get to that later.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Sweet Kiss
Side B: Pound > Ancient Power
Up B: Charm > Fairy Wind
Down B: Metronome
Final Smash: Wish
Entrance: Hatching from its egg > Poke Ball
Taunts: "Toge-PRIII!," waving around its little arms, dancing happily, that sort of thing.
Kirby Hat: The egg shell patterns.
Kart: The Poke Ball car.
Special Move: Metronome.
Spirit Battle: On Puzzle League.
Victory Screen: Dancing around and cheering happily.
Losing Screen: Fainted.
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors.
