BANDANA WADDLE DEE
Most Kirby games come with a handful of sub-games separate from the main story. For Super Star, this included Megaton Punch, a block-breaking game, where Kirby’s first opponent was a special Waddle Dee wearing a bandana.
Though this is technically his true origin, Bandana Waddle Dee would not see true importance until Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, where he joined Kirby, King Dedede, and Meta Knight as the main playable characters. He wielded a spear, and would go on to play significant roles in every subsequent game, and even tended to be the go-to player 2 in many games.
As a fighter, Bandana Waddle Dee will be quick and light, using his spear for most of his attacks. His moveset will pull from all of his major appearances across the series.
