Another spinoff game saw Kirby get attacked by a magician made of yarn, who used a pair of magic knitting needles to unravel Kirby and trap him inside a magic sock.

This is Yin Yarn, the main villain of Kirby’s Epic Yarn, seeking to turn all of Dream Land into his yarn puppets. He would eventually turn out to actually be the two needles, creating a false body out of string.

As a fighter, Yin Yarn will be incredibly light with strong attacks that tend to entangle his foes. His moveset will pull from his boss battle and many of the standard gimmicks of the game.
