Alright, today, let's talk about the Goomba again, Mario's most basic enemy. For most of these games, the Goomba more or less act as they always do, though they do again feature the stack-up ability shown in Super Mario Odyssey. They also made use of the Tanooki and Cat suit, mostly giving them the ability to flick with it or glide the way the cat does, and they wear a version of Kuriboh's shoe that they use to ice skate in snow levels. It's also worth mentioning that the Galoomba returns, alongside another offshoot of the Goomba called the Goombrat, and a skeletal version. They also can pop out of chestnut shells too, hearkening to their origins.
Here is the moveset as adapted so far:
Standard B: Goom Spear
Standard B: Goom Spear
Side B: Kuribo's Shoe
Up B: Paragoomba
Down B: Stack Up
Final Smash: Goomboss
Entrance: Changed to pops out of chestnut shell.
Taunts: The little hop around and squeak from Super Mario 64 for sure.
Galoomba and Goombrat for sure color swaps, also to be eventually joined by Goombella and Goombario and maybe a couple others.

Next up: Let's check out Piranha Plant.
