Galacta Knight

GALACTA KNIGHT

In 2008, Kirby Super Star saw an expanded remake with a few extra modes. One of these featured Meta Knight playing through Kirby’s adventures, reaching Galactic Nova to make a wish only to wish to fight the strongest warrior in the universe.

This wish summoned forth Galacta Knight, a warrior similar to Meta Knight but armed with a lance instead of a sword. Galacta Knight would recur again and again, often as the final boss of the Meta Knight mini-games in most subsequent entries.

As a fighter, Galacta Knight would be similar in stats to Meta Knight, with much greater power behind his attacks and better aerials. His moveset would pull from his various battles.

Marx

MARX

Another mini-story in Super Star featured the sun and moon getting into a fight and preventing the citizens of Dream Land from sleeping. A small jester-like creature tells Kirby to seek out Galactic Nova, a powerful wish-granting machine, to stop them from fighting.

This little jester is Marx, who betrays Kirby upon reaching his goal and instead wishes for the power to destroy the world, revealing himself to be the game’s main villain. He would reappear throughout the series here and there, and is remembered well for his traitorous turn.

As a fighter, he will be erratic and slippery, with good aerials and powerful attacks. His moveset will pull largely from his final battle, where he has ultimate power at his disposal.

Likelihood rating: Strong.

Dyna Blade

DYNA BLADE

For the SNES, Kirby series representation came in the form of Kirby Super Star. The game was split up into multiple mini-stories that you would work your way through one by one. One of these featured a giant bird wreaking havoc over her missing eggs.

This is Dyna Blade, one of the most powerful residents of Dream Land. Though a major boss, she will turn friendly when her eggs are returned to her and she has had a recurring presence throughout the series.

As a fighter, she will be big and powerful, with good aerial mobility and high speed. Her moveset will pull from her main boss battle as well as any subsequent fights.

Likelihood rating: Piranha Plant clause.

Kirby Super Star Ultra

KIRBY SUPER STAR ULTRA

Kirby Super Star Ultra is a remake of Super Star Ultra, mostly recreating the game largely as is, with a handful of modernized updates here and there. There are also four new game chapters, including Revenge of the King (a harder version of Spring Breeze), Helper to Hero (Arena but you play as the helpers), Meta Knightmare Ultra (where you play as Meta Knight through most of the game's modes), and the True Arena (fighting through the ten new battles of these four modes). Meta Knightmare Ultra is most notable for being the introduction of Galacta Knight, with Meta Knight wishing to challenge the strongest fighter in the universe when he approaches Galactic Nova.
