TRAPINCH/VIBRAVA/FLYGON
Next up, skipping over Spinda, we have a very popular line based on antlions, complete with their distinct larval form that looks nothing like their dragonfly-like adult form. They are Ground/Dragon for some reason, despite being obviously bugs, but it works either way.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Crunch > Supersonic (II) > Dragon Breath (III)
Side B: Bulldoze > Dragon Tail (II)
Up B: Sand Attack > Sandstorm (II)
Down B: Sand Tomb > Earthquake (III)
Final Smash: Giant Antlion Pit
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Snapping around for Trapinch, buzzing its wings for the latter two, things like that.
Kirby Hat: Trapinch's vice mouth, the latter two's antennae and wings.
Kart: The Poke Ball car.
Special Move: Sand Tomb.
Spirit Battle: On Sky Pillar.
Victory Screen: Trapinch burrowing itself, the latter two performing aerial stunts.
Losing Screen: Knocked out with the dizzy eyes.
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors.
