TORCHIC/COMBUSKEN/BLAZIKEN
Next up is our Gen III fire starters, Torchic, Combusken, and Blaziken, based on chickens and more specifically, the concept of cockfighting, as seen by its partial Fighting typing. This one was also quite popular at the time, as were its companion lines.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Ember > Flamethrower (II) > Fire Punch (III)
Side B: Scratch > Double Kick (II) > Blaze Kick (III)
Up B: Flame Charge
Down B: Sand Attack > Reversal (III)
Final Smash: Flare Blitz > Mega Blaziken (III)
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Pecking around on the ground, performing some practice kicks, things like that.
Kirby Hat: Their head feathers and beaks.
Kart: The Poke Ball car
Special Move: Blaze Kick
Spirit Battle: On Mt. Chimney
Victory Screen: Performing some high kicks.
Losing Screen: Knocked out with the dizzy eyes.
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors.
