And now, we come to our new batch of non-Pokemon characters for that roster, coming mostly from the spinoff games. They include:

1. Wes and Rui

2. Michael

3. Pokemon Ranger

4. Lucy Fleetfoot

5. Baron Phobos

Next up, we have Michael, the protagonist of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, the son of a scientist working at a lab dedicated to purifying Shadow Pokemon from their darkness. As a result, he is equipped with a snagging machine and a special device that alerts him to the presence of a Shadow Pokemon, making a companion like Rui non-essential, which is the main reason Michael would be an echo of them.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Snagem

Side B: Desert Rider

With Michael's smaller vehicle instead.

Up B: Cipher Lift

Down B: Eevee

Same, but just the one and weaker.

Final Smash: Purification

Same, but with the purification machine instead of the ritual.

Entrance: Arriving on his vehicle.

Taunts: Up, raising a Poke Ball into the air. Side, performing a pose. Down, petting his Eevee.

Kirby Hat: Wes's hair and bandana.

Kart: His vehicle

Special Move: Purification

Spirit Battle: On Mt. Battle, with two Pokemon joining the player.

Victory Screen: His battle victory animation.

Losing Screen: His lost battle animation.

Color Swaps: His normal outfit, an outfit based on Jovi, his mom, Wes, Rui, Ardos, Eldes, and Shadow Lugia.
