WINGULL/PELIPPER
And now, instead of a "nice" and "mean" regional bird, we have a normal and oceanic? regional bird. That's what it always felt like to me, anyway. Wingull and Pelipper are based on seabirds, sea gulls and pelicans specifically, with Wingull also having maybe some little kite inspiration? Like those paper things that attack Haku in Spirited Away? Do you know what I'm talking about? Anyone else see it or just me?
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Water Gun > Water Pulse
Side B: Quick Attack > Swallow
Up B: Wing Attack
Down B: Supersonic > Roost
Final Smash: Hurricane
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Sailing on the wind currents, pecking at garbage, things like that.
Kirby Hat: Their beaks and white feathers
Kart: Just flying.
Special Move: Roost.
Spirit Battle: On Battle Frontier
Victory Screen: Flying away over the ocean.
Losing Screen: Knocked out with the dizzy eyes.
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors.
