Kirby Requests

KIRBY REQUESTS

So, way back when I was about wrapped up with the original Kirby run, I received a message from someone listing four characters that apparently only appear in Japan-only works that all the wikis I looked at seemed to omit. Which is weird, since there were a lot of Japan exclusives covered, but I digress. Wikis are imperfect by design.

First up is Nana, a waitress appearing in a comic that loosely translates to "Pupuland is in Big Trouble" from 1992. Information on this is very difficult to find, a lot of it in Japanese, and I only trust Google Translate as far as I can throw it, but here's what I've gathered. In her few appearances, she feeds Kirby superspicy curry, gives him an energy drink, and sings a song that makes food real. Not quite enough, and I can't find anything else, so it's gonna be a NO. (Fun Assist Trophy option though).

Next up is Cheeby, from the comic "Kirby of the Stars." He is a little ice cream cone looking guy, who might be Kirby's guardian angel or something (This one of those where it really feels like a translation flub) who turns into the enemy Dizzy when his cone hat is stolen. Not much else there I could find, so NO.

Next is the Blue Fish from "Kirby und das Geheimnis des Glibbers" (couldn't find any good translation on that one). He is just kind of carried around in a fishbowl, but can apparently drive the bowl and walk around on his own, but there's not much else I could find. NO.

Then there's Star Kirby 3, from "Kirby of the Stars." He is a robot built by Kirby, patterned after himself. He likes to eat like Kirby, jumps in the wrong direction a lot, has jet rockets on his feet, and . . . drinks a potion that turns rain into candy? Am I reading that right? Um, there is quite a bit there, so I think I'll say YES for this one.

I guess I'm doing Star Kirby 3 tomorrow!
