Character Sheet: Dohna

DOHNA

Now, let's go over the new characters brought to us by Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. I have the time, so, let's just do the character sheets. Also, I just remembered that somebody sent me a list of Kirby characters, so I'll go through them after this list is done.

1. Tri

2. Dohna

3. Darston

4. Conde

5. Dampe

6. Null

7. Talus

8. Volvagia

9. Mogryph

10. Skorchill

For the companions of each species in Echoes of Wisdom, I went into it asking two questions. 1) Where are there echo spaces available, and 2) How much does the individual in question actually help. That resulted in three clear newcomers: Dohna, Darston, and Conde. Blossu is much, much less involved in the Faron Wetlands story segment than the others, while Dradd and Kushara presented the problem of there being two of them equally prominent in the story and only one echo available. That said, both mostly just show up at key moments and play their instruments, so it was easy to just knock them out.

For Dohna specifically, we had echo spots open for Urbosa and Riju. I was going to pick Riju, since Dohna fills a similar role, but then I remembered Riju has a sand seal factored into her moveset, and that was just not gonna fly here. So, an echo for Urbosa it is.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Dohna's Fury

Certainly not quite as powerful, but it's still up there.

Side B: Gerudo Slash

Using her cutlass instead.

Up B: Desert Cyclone

Down B: Energy Barrier

Probably more energy and less lightning.

Final Smash: Sand Burial

She will flood the stage with sand, much as her people did to conceal the Gerudo Sanctum in the game.

Entrance: She will emerge from a rift.

Taunts: Up, she will cower as dark orbs swirl above her. Side, she will train with her weapon. Down, she will cross her arms and stand firm.

Kirby Hat: Her hair

Kart: Based on the caromadillo.

Special Move: Leaving a sand pile behind.

Spirit Battle: On Gerudo Desert, with three Gerudo guards.

Victory Screen: Standing before the sanctum as the rift disappears.

Losing Screen: Floating in the void drained of color.

Color Swaps: Her normal outfit, based on Seera, based on Facette, based on a guard, based on a caromadillo, based on Mogryph, based on Zelda, and drained of color.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Darston steps up as chief!
