BUZZY BEETLE
Today, we begin our newcomers. I did say going into this that the RPGs would likely be the last shot for many of the frequent enemies you wouldn't expect to see on a Smash roster, but what I didn't expect was that the RPGs would actually come through for a lot of them. At least one I thought was never going to happen in a million, billion years. But here we are. The first ten are all Mario regulars who finally took the step up to playable. The other sixteen are originals to the Mario & Luigi games (or Origami King) specifically.

Next up, we'll cover the Buzzy Beetle, a common enemy type seen throughout the games that had had pieces here and there, but not enough to fully bring together in one go. But now, we do, all thanks to a certain paper-macho Buzzy capable of shooting lasers from its face. That, on top of its abilities to explode like a bomb in Land 2, pick up and chuck blocks in Bros. 3, and its cousins the Spike Tops and the Spinies, I think we have just enough.
Here's the moveset:
Standard B: Laser Beam
A bright pink laser will shoot from the front of its shell, just like the paper macho version.
Side B: Block Throw
This move is based on Bros. 3, where a small Buzzy would pick up and throw a block at you. The Buzzy will basically mimic that move.
Up B: Shell Spin
The Buzzy will spin in its shell fast enough to rise into the air with a spike (based on the Spike Tops) sticking upward.
Down B: Bomb Back
The Buzzy will tuck into its shell and a lit fuse will appear, based on their appearance in Super Mario Land 2.
Final Smash: Mega Buzzy
The only one I'm not certain about. I considered Para Beetles, but considering their lax nature, I didn't think they'd do well. Instead, the Buzzy will tuck into his shell, grow to ginormous proportions and then spin back and forth across the stage, launching anyone hit.
Entrance: the Buzzy will crawl up from the underside of the platform they start on.
Taunts: Up, the Buzzy will hop excitedly for a second. Side, the Buzzy will tuck into its shell and zip back and forth really quick. Down, the Buzzy will curl up and go to sleep.
Thanks for reading! Next up, we'll cover a new echo in the form of King Bob-Omb!
