STAR STACKER

Kirby’s Star Stacker is a Tetris-like puzzle game among the spinoffs of the Kirby series, represented already in part by the Green Greens stage from Melee.

As a stage, I’d rather be a bit more simple, setting it within the game screen, with the various blocks acting as platforms, constantly falling and forming into new formations, bombs occasionally taking out sections and the player with it.

Gryll & Mr. Star

Alongside all of its main games, the Kirby series had a large number of spinoff games, often in the form of small puzzle games. One among these was the Star Stacker game, a Tetris-like matching block game.

In the second of these games, expanded from the first, a story was added of a small star named Mr. Star falling from the sky and seeking out Kirby’s help to get back to his friend, a witch named Gryll, who would act as the final boss.

As fighters, Gryll and Mr. Star would act as a tag team, flying around on Gryll’s broom. Their moveset would pull from the entire Star Stacker series, making them overall representatives of the games.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.

Kirby's Super Star Stacker

KIRBY'S SUPER STAR STACKER

Kirby's Super Star Stacker is a console remake of Star Stacker that is mostly the same as the original, except with an expanded story mode, featuring a small star named Mr. Star and his friend, a witch named Gryll, who flies on a broom and uses it as a weapon. Not much else to say, really.
