Armoroid

ARMOROID

Another ability Kirby gained was Mech, which gave him high-tech weaponry hearkening back to Planet Robobot. This was mainly provided by the Armoroid enemy.

As a fighter, the Armoroid will have lots of projectile and solid armor, with decent speed. Its moveset will pull from the Mech ability.

Likelihood rating: Probably not.

Sandran

SANDRAN

In the Return to Dream Land remake, Kirby gained a couple new abilities. First there was Sand, very similar to Leaf except using sand for all of its moves. This abilities was mainly provided by Sandran, a happy little beach lizard.

As a fighter, Sandran will be fairly small and docile, but with decent defense and agility. Its moveset will pull from the Sand ability.

Likelihood rating: Probably not.

Master Crown

MASTER CROWN

The 2023 remake of Kirby’s Return to Dream Land featured a bonus story following Magolor after his defeat, waking in a sort of limbo world. There, he strives to find the pieces of the Master Crown and restore his magic, only for a Crown Doomer to eat the pieces of the Master Crown and transform.

This is the final boss of Magolor’s epilogue, the Master Crown transformed into a monster. Magolor fights and defeats it, seemingly redeeming himself for his evil actions.

As a fighter, the Crown will be large and powerful but slow. Its moveset will pull from its boss battle as it occurs in the epilogue.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.

Magolor

MAGOLOR

After about five years without a mainline game, the Kirby series returned to form with Return to Dream Land, which saw Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee witness a ship from another dimension crashland, all four racing to it to find its pilot inside.

This is Magolor, who begs their help to retrieve the missing pieces of his ship. Though he seems a friendly ally, in the end, he is revealed to be using you to repair his ship and help him steal a powerful artifact that he can use for world domination.

As a fighter, he will be light and floaty, but with powerful magical attacks behind him. His moveset will pull from his boss battle as well as his playable appearance in the game’s remake.

Likelihood rating: Strong.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe

KIRBY'S RETURN TO DREAM LAND DELUXE

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is a very recent remake of Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It comes with two new copy abilities: Sand and Mecha, both of which have more than enough to work with. Also Sand pulls heavily from Leaf, meaning I . . . might be able to work with it? I'd be down anyway. The game also includes a new area called Merry Magoland, where a bunch of minigames can be played; and it features Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler, a new bonus story mode starring Magolor as the playable character, working his way out of the limbo he found himself in after being defeated by Kirby and friends. It features the Master Crown as the final boss, transforming into a tree-like monster. There are enough attacks for me to work with.

Here's what we've got so far:

Characters:

Kirby

Meta Knight

Galacta Knight

Magolor

Leaf*

Sand*

Mecha*

Master Crown: boss battle

Gryll and Mr. Star: gimmick reps for sure

Thanks for reading! Next up, what am I supposed to do with all this Extra Yarn?
