Kokiri

KOKIRI

Ocarina of Time opens with a small fairy being sent to find the “chosen one” meant to save Hyrule. Said fairy flies through the forest, and the audience is treated to a view from her perspective, finding a village deep in the woods filled with small elven people that look like children.

These are the Kokiri, a race of magical beings who tend to the Lost Woods. They took Link in as a baby and raised him as one of their own. They constitute one of the five races inhabiting Hyrule, though they would not recur in any subsequent games.

As fighters, they will be light and nimble, with nature-based powers and moves heavily based on the same pool that Saria draws from.
