ZORUA/ZOROARK
Next up, we have less of a Gen I stand-in, and more like Gen V's attempt at a new Lucario. That said, one could argue that they are the new Vulpix line. Zorua and Zoroark are based on shapeshifting fox spirits common to multiple East Asian mythologies, and have a distinct gimmick of disguising themselves as humans and other Pokemon.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Fury Swipes > Night Slash
Side B: Agility
Up B: Knock Off
Down B: Scary Face > Night Daze
Final Smash: Nasty Plot
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Sniffing around, yapping like a fox, crouching, things like that. Maybe a secret taunt where they turn into an opponent (only visibly).
Kirby Hat: Their hair
Kart: The Poke Ball car
Special Move: Night Slash
Spirit Battle: On N's Castle, possibly with N
Victory Screen: Slashing, then disappearing into shadow
Losing Screen: Fainted
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors. An N-based color.
Thanks for reading! Next up, Minccino is ready for its closeup!
