PURRLOIN/LIEPARD
So, Gen V is rather well known for being a soft reboot of sorts for the Pokemon franchise. One of the most visible aspects of this is that there are SO many new Pokemon that are basically a reinvented Gen I Pokemon, that basically fills the role of the original and has more or less the same basic concept. Purrloin and Liepard would be the first of that, being very much the new Meowth and Persian. There's also a whole dog and cat thing going on with their placement next to Lillipup's line, but that's about it.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Scratch > Night Slash
Side B: Fury Swipes
Up B: Sand Attack > Sucker Punch
Down B: Fake Out
Final Smash: Predator in the Night
Entrance: Poke Ball
Taunts: Licking themselves, purring and playing with a ball, being naughty, things like that.
Kirby Hat: Their heads as "Catwoman" masks
Kart: The Poke Ball car
Special Move: Night Slash
Spirit Battle: On Wish Park
Victory Screen: Looking prissy and licking themselves
Losing Screen: Fainted
Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors
