Character Sheet: The Chimchar Line

CHIMCHAR/MONFERNO/INFERNAPE

Next up, we have the Chimchar line, Gen IV's fire starters. They are based on monkeys, or more accurately chimps and mandrills. Even more specifically, they are based on Sun Wukong, the mythical monkey king from Journey to the West. It's kind of a shame their English names are so basic. Surely we could have come up with something more creative, right?

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Ember > Mach Punch (II)

Side B: Fury Swipes > Fire Spin (III)

Up B: Flame Wheel > Acrobatics (III)

Down B: Taunt > Torment (II)

Final Smash: Flare Blitz > Monkey King (III)

Entrance: Poke Ball

Taunts: Dancing around like a monkey, scratching its butt, things like that. If it had an iconic pole weapon, I'd make reference to Wukong with that, but no.

Kirby Hat: Donkey Kong style, then Infernape's fire crown

Kart: The Poke Ball car

Special Move: Fire Spin

Spirit Battle: On Poketopia

Victory Screen: Dancing around happily like a monkey.

Losing Screen: Fainted

Color Swaps: Main, shiny, other general colors
